Call of Duty – World at War is a first-person shooter video game set amongst the final battles of World War II.

World at War was release by Activision in mid November 2008 and is the fifth and latest Call of Duty game in the series.

The game has been rated highly by many major games publications and sees you fight your way across war zones in Japan and the Eastern Front.

Call of Duty – World at War focuses on the battles which took place in the Pacific theater and Eastern front involving armies from the United States, Japan, Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. As you lead your characters through the game you will be doing so based on the actual historical battles that took place during the era.

As you progress through the game you will be stunned with the realism of the gameplay. Complete your missions by shooting down the enemy, providing cover fire and clear rooms for entry. Missions can be achieved on your own or via Multiplayer mode where two players can play via split screen on consoles or upto four players can compete online.

Survive air strike attacks, ambushes by the Japanese and German armies, firefights in the streets of Berlin and combat on the front line and you’ll get to plant the Soviet flag in its place at the Reichstag to declare the war has been won. Call of Duty – World at War will take you through a journey across war zones in Japan and the Eastern Front.
